This innovative device works in a single-gang opening to allow placement of USB charging capability in locations typically reserved for switches, such as near countertops, desktops, or vanity areas. Installed in place of a traditional switch, the USB Switch Combination Charger device allows users to control lights or receptacles while also providing a convenient place to power electronics via USB.
The switch is capable of single-pole or three-way wiring to accommodate control from two points; the switch is isolated from the USB for independent use. Providing 2.1 amps of charging power, the device can safely charge:
